What is Inspiring Greatness?

This is a unique coaching experience that was designed specifically for schools in Africa. Awakening Leadership provides quality coaching, motivation and leadership training to school management, educators, support staff and learners. Awakening Leadership forms a partnership with the school by offering quality coaching and training to help boost performance at all levels.

How does it work?

Alvin Govender is the creator of the Inspiring Greatness program. He used his vast experience as a business coach, leadership consultant and is also an ex-educator. This has allowed him to custom make the courses to be relevant and boost performance in schools.

The coaching program has the following goals:

• Equip school managers to cope effectively with challenges of the school.
• Equip educators and managers to deal with problems, cope better with stress and teach the skills that are needed for success.
• Inspire better performance in our learners through skills transfer, awareness sessions and motivational courses.
• All courses and interventions are integrated into the school’s program with minimal disruption and maximum benefit.

Why is this program effective?

• We use trained coaches and specialists that must have experience and a good track record.
• The programs are value- based and results driven. We coach the skills that are needed to boost performance. If the learner and the educator can integrate these into their goals, productivity and results will improve.
• The Awakening Leadership team and its partners have worked in the corporate space and on specialised projects and this ensures that the standards are high.
• Awakening Leadership uses a trained project manager to ensure all the goals are being achieved.
